Art has been an important part of Jordan's life. She has been able to reflect and reminisce on her various adventures and different cities in which she has lived through her art. Each personal piece that she has completed hangs on her walls at home. She also enjoys making art as gifts for her friends and family. She hopes that she can share her artistic journey with everyone and connect with those who truly find the pieces special.

Jordan uses Prismacolor Premiere colored pencils for the majority of her pieces. Each is on professional drawing paper and is sealed with a final fixative that prevents against smudging and ultraviolet light. On some pieces she has used professional fine point markers for the background.

Before each piece, Jordan measures out a .5 inch border around the piece for matting purposes. She maps out the layout of the bold wording, whether a quote, city name, person's name or phrase. After, she begins the drawings that are the main focus of the piece and highlights the theme. Once the main outline is created and the drawings all have a place, she begins to fill in the background with words and doodles in either multi-color or a certain hue or color selection.
